I hope everyone made it through Monday unscathed? I fought the temptation to nap at work and even managed to get some work done. Huzzah!
Today I'd like to show you a polish that my lovely boyfriend put in our basket at Boots, after I picked it up to look at, then put back because I've spent my polish budget for the month. He was so proud of my restraint that he got it for me! This was a moment full of win, my friends.
Max Factor Odyssey Blue is from their Max Colours Effects mini polish range. The range of colours and finishes is great and I can't resist anything in cute packaging!
See that purple flash at the bottom edge of the bottle? Gorgeous! It's only the barest hint of purple once you get it onto the nails, but I love this polish anyway.
Application was good for a mini brush. This is easily a 2-coater in terms of coverage, but I went for 3 coats so the blue would be even richer.
It's a glass flecked finish, one of my favourite types. The flecks are a slightly lighter blue which gives this polish a fantastic depth of colour.
If you're looking for a rich, beautiful blue with a twist you could do a lot worst than to pick this one up.
These normally retail for £3.99 but Superdrug are currently selling them online for £2.99 each - fingers crossed that's still the price come payday! What do you think of Odyssey Blue? Are there any polishes from this range that you love?
I love this shade and I too am a sucker for a cute bottle :D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's not just me! Seriously, I know you get less for your money sometimes with the mini bottles, but there's a logic link missing in my brain and it seems to have been replaced with "this is really small and cute, you must have it!" :D
DeleteThis looks gorgeous, kind of similar to my beloved opi swimsuit :D you're nails are looking good too :)
ReplyDeleteOhh, it's really similar! I wonder if they'd be dupes in a comparison.
DeleteThank you so much! <3

ReplyDeleteThank you! I'll take a look at your blog but I've had to remove the comment because I can't edit the link out, sadly.
DeleteI've fallen in love with this colour!
ReplyDeleteI've nominated you for the Liebster Award :) x

Sorry for the super slow reply, Roo! I've already done a post for that so I'm afraid I won't be able to answer your questions, but thanks very much for the nomination <3
